Last year was extremely successful for the Kia brand in Europe and Ukraine. In the Old world during the year were sold 435 316 vehicles, while sales increased by 13.1%. In Ukraine sales of Kia cars compared to 2015 increased by an impressive 98%, while the Sportage crossover has received the status of most popular model in the country.
The Ukrainian new car market is gradually recovering from the crisis of 2014-2015. According to the «Association of automobile manufacturers of Ukraine» (Ukrautoprom), sales of Kia vehicles in 2016 increased by 98% compared to the year 2015, while the brand is back in the top five in Ukraine. But the most impressive breakthrough in the domestic market Kia Sportage car became the most popular model in Ukraine, the preference which gave over 2,700 motorists.
In 2017, Kia fans will find a few interesting novelties. So, in addition to the hybrid crossover Niro, in Ukraine there will be a brand new Rio hatchback and an updated Sorento mid-size PE. List of modifications on the hugely popular Sportage will join the new version, the details of which will be revealed later.
