Yamaha has announced a new three-wheeled scooter Yamaha Tricity 155, which is an important complement of the line Tricity. The novelty will be sold only in Europe along with the basic 125-cubic version. It is not only motor, but also the volume of the fuel tank, and larger rear wheel.
Displacement Yamaha Tricity on 155 30.2 cm3 more than the original model Yamaha Tricity. The new engine has four valves instead of two, as well as a system of variable valve timing, which allows increasing the efficiency of the motor. The maximum power of 14.9 BHP is achieved at 9 000 rpm (+37%) and torque of 14.5 Nm at 6 000 rpm.
Chassis Yamaha Tricity 155 is identical to the chassis of the basic version: parallelogram front suspension that allows the front wheels to turn and bend over. To compensate for the extra power, larger rear mounted 13-inch wheel with rubber 130/70.
Seat height remains the same (780 mm), but the Japanese have increased the volume of the Luggage compartment under the saddle to hold an integral helmet. Fuel tank capacity increased to 0.75 liter. Visually, the scooter Tricity 125 and 155 are virtually identical, but there are differences in the rear plastic, the design of the passenger handles. Furthermore, the double saddle is made more long and flat, and also note a new led headlight.
